The inspiration of the design is from the monument. "The Palace of Wind" in Jaipur. Small windows have been depicted as that of the monument. The pyramidal upper part of the carpet depicts a shape of a crown or royalty. Hence, the name of the design is called “The Palace of Wind”. The same are being made in silk on cotton and wool on cotton. Besides, the above design we have plain solid colors and also with simplistic designs having curves, waves, boxes etc.
